Ambasciatore Cornelis Calkoen al sultano Ahmed III, 14 settembre 1727. La grande visiera parla all'ambasciatore a sinistra. A sinistra c'è il sultano sul suo trono. A destra, l'ambasciatore e i ministri turchi. Parte di una serie di dipinti con soggetti turchi portati dalla Turchia ai Paesi Bassi dall'ambasciatore Cornelis Calkoen e dal cugino Nicolaas nel 1817 presso il Consiglio Esecutivo del Levantsche Handel di Amsterdam.
