Il pasto offerto all'ambasciatore Calkoen dalla grande visiera a nome del sultano Ahmed III, 14 settembre 1727. Gli olandesi e alcuni dei ministri turchi condividono i tavoli nella sala del consiglio. Parte di una serie di dipinti con soggetti turchi portati dalla Turchia ai Paesi Bassi dall'ambasciatore Cornelis Calkoen e dal cugino Nicolaas nel 1817 presso il Consiglio Esecutivo del Levantsche Handel di Amsterdam.
