Jean de Rouen, di Normandia, ha scolpito questa composizione, che è stata prodotta durante la prima fase della sua carriera ed è considerata uno dei suoi capolavori. Ritrae San Giovanni e le tre Maria, vestite in abiti del XVI secolo. La leggera contorsione dei loro corpi suggerisce un certo grado di discrezione nei loro movimenti. La rappresentazione dei capi mostra una sottigliezza impressionante e un occhio per i dettagli. Il decadimento del calcare ha portato alla completa perdita della policromia.
