Una figura femminile alta gira la testa sulla spalla, rivelando la sua forma fisica matura. Come compagno di questa figura, Schadow ha fatto una figura contrastante di un giovane in una pietra sacrificale. Entrambe le figure sono energicamente formate, con corpi lavorati allo stesso modo e caratteristiche facciali piuttosto schizzi, mani e capelli ricci: queste parti sarebbero state raffinate nelle versioni pianificate, ma mai eseguite, full-size. I contorni ritmici di queste due figure correlate sono impostati contro indicazioni non specifiche di drappeggio.
