Terezín-Theresienstadt, 3 di 10, Bambini sulla strada per Auschwitz (Kinder auf Wege nach Auschwitz). Questa potente e inquietante immagine, una delle dieci stampate dopo la guerra utilizzando il piatto originale creato durante l'Olocausto, raffigura una scena in cui i bambini sono portati via da una guardia armata e una figura incappucciata, i cui volti sono oscurati e allontanati dallo spettatore. Sullo sfondo una massa di facce schematiche preme contro le finestre sbarrate. Il contrasto in tonalità scure chiare e profondamente incise aggiunge all'umore terrificante, la piccola statura dei bambini sottolineata dalla grande scala delle due figure adulte. Le loro caratteristiche sono appena individualizzate, appena distinte dal genere, creando un senso di un orrore generalizzato, anche se Haas stesso avrebbe sperimentato questi eventi terribili e specifici su base giornaliera. Ben Uri detiene 10 opere di Haas nella Collezione. Yad Vashem a Gerusalemme detiene 21 ritratti dell'artista.
