Si tratta di un manifesto pubblicitario del 1914 commissionato dal Berliner Theater, opera di uno dei più influenti manifesti austriaci attivi prima della prima guerra mondiale, che ha aggiornato la lingua di poster per dargli uno status di disciplina di arti separate. La magia del cinema francese è ora disponibile in un teatro di Berlino. L'associazione dell'evento pubblicizzato con la Francia è evidenziata da un grande tricorne (come indossato dai soldati nel periodo delle guerre napoleoniche) con un emblema in Repubblica
