Questo lavoro raffigura un cimitero ebraico a Czerniawy, attualmente situato all'interno dei confini di Kazimierz Dolny (Czerniawy Street). Fu dipinto negli anni '30. Il frammento "incorniciato" del cimitero mostra matzevahs — pietre a testa — su uno sfondo di foresta. Anche se il lavoro nel suo insieme è presentato in luce, tonalità pastello, l'uso della tecnica gouache intensifica i colori. Ci sono due dominanti: il matzevah in primo piano e alberi infuocati, che disturbano il ritmo delle forme verticali. L'artista non ha enfatizzato i dettagli, blurring le abbellimenti dei matzevahs.
