Un modello particolarmente elegante, questa ciotola di zucchero ovale presenta due aquile scolpite che guardano i loro giovani mentre si becca. Progettato nel 1806 da Alexandre Brongniart, poi direttore della Manifattura Sèvres, fa parte del servizio di dessert con ghirlande di fiori su sfondo oro consegnato a Compiègne nel 1809 per l'imperatore Napoleone I. Usato fino al 1830, il servizio poi completamente scomparso. Oggi è rappresentata a Compiègne da diversi pezzi recentemente acquistati esposti nella sala da pranzo dell’imperatrice.
