La pittura di Guarana decora la sala musica (Sala della Musica) della chiesa dell'Ospedaletto. La sala è stata utilizzata per concerti delle ragazze nell'orfanotrofio di Santa Maria Derelitti, un'istituzione che ha offerto un'eccezionale formazione musicale, con insegnanti come i compositori Domenico Cimarosa e Niccolò Porpora. La sua orchestra femminile fu però meno celebrata di quella del Conservatorio della Pietà, che fu diretta da Antonio Vivaldi.
