Il Colon Theather è una biografia progettata dall'architetto francese Claude Sahut, inaugurata nel 1914, e successivamente dichiarata Monumento Nazionale nel 1972. Il teatro si trova di fronte a San Martín Plaza, ex Zela Plaza. Nei suoi primi anni, aveva solo due piani e una cupola in stile liberty. L'edificio è stato rimodellato alla sua attuale apparizione nel 1936 dall'ingegnere Alejandro Garland, portando importanti cambiamenti come la crescita verticale dell'edificio. Nelle sue strutture sono state presentate numerose opere teatrali, e dal 1921, anche proiezioni cinematografiche.
