I Sette Sacramenti si riferiscono a due serie di dipinti dei sette sacramenti del pittore francese Nicholas Poussin. Questo dipinto (1647-48) è uno dei secondi Sacramenti, dipinto per il fedele amico di Poussin, Fréart de Chantelou. Qui tutto è denso e teso, solo il matrimonio con le sue ghirlande e le finestre luminose, mostra qualsiasi leggerezza. Il dipinto (117 x 178 cm) è nella Galleria Nazionale di Scozia, Edimburgo.
