Questo ventilatore dipinto, precedentemente usato ma salvato con amore cura e rimontato come un rotolo appeso, raffigura i campanili cinesi blu e bianchi, le fioriture autunnali preferite del Giappone. Combinato con l'erba di pampas, i campanili cinesi esprimono in modo succinta il momento in cui la fine dell'estate passa in autunno. Anche se il dipinto reca un sigillo che legge "Hokkyō Kōrin" ("Kōrin, tenendo il rango di Hokkyō"), manca la spontaneità del grande genio dello stile Rinpa e quindi può essere assegnato a uno dei numerosi seguaci di Kōrin.
