Presumibilmente dipinto per commemorare un evento importante nella vita del cardinale raffigurato, questa scena e le sue figure, in gran parte ritratti, devono ancora essere identificati. Il leone e le aquile sul mazzo d’argento e d’oro di fronte alla figura centrale probabilmente fanno riferimento allo stemma cardinalizio. L'architettura antica e moderna non si allinea con gli edifici conosciuti.
