I Bataven chiudono i Romani a Vetera. In primo piano un soldato ferito si prende cura di e un altro guerriero dice addio alla sua famiglia. Quinta esecuzione in una serie di dodici scene della ribellione di Batavier contro i Romani (SK-A-421/432), acquistata dagli Stati Generali nel 1613.
