La discesa dalla croce è il pannello centrale di un trittico dipinto da Peter Paul Rubens nel 1612-1614. Il dipinto è il secondo dei grandi altari di Rubens per la Cattedrale di Nostra Signora, Anversa, Belgio, insieme all'Elevation of the Cross. Il soggetto era un Rubens ritornato di nuovo e di nuovo nella sua carriera. Questo particolare lavoro fu commissionato il 7 settembre 1611 dalla Confraternita degli Arquebusiers, il cui patrono era San Cristoforo.
