VISITA' DI ARABIC HOMESOn 2 dicembre Uhse scrive nel suo diario di viaggio: “Ogni mattina siamo andati alla chiesa copta e siamo stati lì fin dalle 8 per essere in grado di testimoniare l'intero servizio. Ci è stato dato il pane da mangiare e la contessa ha tenuto il suo come ricordo. Dopo la colazione abbiamo visto due case arabe. Ci è stata anche data l'opportunità di visitare i lepri in ex palazzi dove i soffitti erano alti e dorati e dipinti. Le signore di harem erano felici e felici, purtroppo non siamo stati in grado di capire le loro domande. Abbiamo anche visto un signore
