Questa ewer racconta due storie del Libro di Esodo: sulla spalla è l'episodio durante il quale gli israeliti raccolgono la manna che cade sulla terra dopo che si lamentano con Mosè di fame, una storia spesso rappresentata sugli smalti di Limoges. Sul corpo della torre è una rappresentazione della distruzione degli eserciti del faraone dopo che gli israeliti attraversano il Mar Rosso. Questa ewer potrebbe essere un lavoro tardivo di Pierre Reymond, che ha firmato diversi vasi della stessa forma ma decorati in grisaille; tuttavia, il ricco repertorio di motivi decorativi ricorda il lavoro di Jean Reymond.
