Questo calice prodigiosamente eseguito, in vetro bianco, soffiato in una struttura in argento e bronzo ha una manopola in vetro stampata ad alto rilievo con figure intrecciate. Questi oggetti in vetro soffiato in un quadro metallico sono stati un'importante evoluzione nella fabbricazione del vetro Lalique, e seguiti nel percorso di una tradizione già nota nell'antichità, che doveva essere ripresa dai Veneziani nel XIX secolo. L'artista ha creato un certo numero di pezzi di questo tipo che variavano solo nel tema decorativo che spaziava dai coni di pino alle orecchie di motivi di grano, alle foglie di vite e alle uve dell'esempio presente.
