Questo disegno è pensato per essere stato uno studio preparatorio per un murale. Anche se per la prima volta serviva come sontuosa, le sue linee erano prive di piccoli fori per permettere che l'immagine fosse trasferita a una parete — fu poi rielaborata in un disegno finito da Sahib Ram, che rafforzò i suoi contorni, sbiancava le aree che desiderava cambiare, e spazzolava la pelle e l'abbigliamento di Krishna con lavaggi luminosi di acquerello. Il disegno si basa su un'opera precedente dell'artista Sahib Ram che mostra una ragazza danzante vestita da Krishna.
