In questo dipinto con il Corno d'Oro, l'artista riunisce il trambusto della vita quotidiana sul mare con la silhouette della città nella luce cremisi della sera. Lo skyline della penisola storica sullo sfondo è definito da edifici come la moschea di Süleymaniye, la Torre di Beyazıt, e la moschea di Rüştem Paşa. Questo è uno dei due suoi dipinti che raffigurano la vita al Corno d'Oro nella mostra e impiega un punto di osservazione simile. Mentre il dipinto porta la firma dell’artista e la frase “İstanbul”, non è datata. Anche se ci sono poche informazioni disponibili sull'artista, che è noto per i suoi acquerelli, si pensa sia arrivato a İstanbul dopo il 1885.
