A circa 4,3 km. da Okitsu, la stazione di Ejii è stata creata su banchi di sabbia formata dal fiume Tomoe, che comprende il porto naturale di Shimizu a sud. Situato a circa il punto intermedio tra Edo e Osaka, prosperò come uno scalo per piccole navi da carico da tutto il paese. Depilate in primo piano sono il villaggio di pescatori e le navi ancorate al porto di Shimizu, al centro è il Miho Pine Grove reso famoso nella leggenda di Hagoromo (“The Feathered Robe”).
