Due donne accompagnate da un accompagnatore guardano indietro sulle spalle, e guardano il Monte Fuji all'alba. Il picco del Monte Fuji è così alto che si stende oltre la cornice. La montagna robusta sulla destra è Mt. Ashitaka. Nelle zone umide, due gru giapponesi riposano le ali per l'inverno qui.
