Dalla serie Centinaia di Poesie di Cento Poeti Il festival di Tanabata, il settimo giorno del settimo mese, celebra la riunione annuale degli amanti della stella, l'Headsman e il Heavenly Weaver. Sono separati dalla Via Lattea per il resto dell'anno. Questa stampa illustra una poesia di Ōtomo no Yakamochi (circa 718-785), inclusa nella famosa antologia del titolo della serie. Il grano del blocco di legno utilizzato per thesky mostra chiaramente qui, il che significa che la stampa è stata strofinata quando il blocco era nuovo di zecca.
