Questo registro illustrato del barque TERROR fu completato da Henry William Downes durante un viaggio di caccia da Sydney nell'Oceano Pacifico tra il 17 settembre 1846 e il 17 luglio 1847. Il TERROR è stata una delle tante navi da caccia di proprietà del pittoresco imprenditore Benjamin Boyd, un avventuriero scozzese che è stato uno dei personaggi più significativi della storia del cacciare in Australia coloniale. Fu Boyd a fondare la base di caccia, Boyd Town, a Twofold Bay nel Nuovo Galles del Sud.
