Tamburo laterale di W. S. Tompkins, Yonkers, New York, 1860 (NMM 10141). Questo tamburo di presentazione ornata è stato commissionato al batterista Thomas J. Hellrigle, da diversi cittadini di Dayton, Ohio. Il guscio di mogano presenta un campo di stelle disposti in cerchi concentrici intorno a una grande stella centrale. Ci sono dieci zanne in pelle tagliate a forma di scudi, ognuna con le iniziali T.J.H. incise su piccoli scudi argentati appesi al rimorchio. Un grande scudo argentato attaccato direttamente al guscio del tamburo è inciso con Hellrigle
