Foto di Yoon Dongju prese insieme a Jeong Byeonguk. Jeong Byeonguk era il junior del poeta a scuola. Entrò al Yonhui College due anni dopo Yoon Dongju e si avvicinò al poeta mentre vivevano insieme nel dormitorio di Pinson Hall e nelle case di imbarco di Nusang-dong. Jeong Byeonguk offrì un libro di poesia scritto a mano del suo sijo (il poema coreano tradizionale composto da tre linee di 14-16 sillabe ciascuna), che espresse i suoi sentimenti, come regalo di laurea per Yoon Dongju. Il poeta offrì anche il suo libro di poesia scritto a mano per beneficenza, “Sky, Wind, Stars e Poem” a Jeong Byeonguk.
