I due schermi sono Tiger and Dragon, creature evocative dell'autunno e della primavera, in una tempesta resa con spazzole ampie e vigorose. La tigre si muove su un terreno montagnoso con rocce e pini. Il drago emerge dalle nuvole su un mare di acque bollenti. La firma e il sigillo, così come lo stile e la qualità di questi schermi pittura sono attribuiti alla scuola di Ganku Kishi (1756-1838) e almeno parte del maestro stesso, famoso come un pittore di tigri (uno dei suoi dipinti intitolato Tiger and Waves è nel British Museum).
