江戸後期の浮世絵画家の西栄(1756-1829)。 スレンダー・ビューティの肖像画の独自のスタイルを確立しました。 越石は、当時の現代アーティストである北川上太郎とリヴァリーで、お互いに人気を寄せた。 越石が描いた女性のほとんどは、画家の出産から来ていると思われたエレガンスと優雅な空気を持っています。 この絵画は、ホタルキャッチを楽しむ細い女性にも描かれています。 女性の皮膚と彼女の髪飾りを除くすべてのものは、淡いインクで塗装され、夜に輝く光のホタルでシーンを作り出しています。 濃紺と淡いインクとグレーのサブデュード・ヒュースのみを使用した絵画のこのスタイルは、数少ない色の色合いでトーンを根絶させるためのものです。鮮やかな色の使用を避けることは、テンメイの後半からカンセイ時代(18世紀末頃)で人気だった表現の方法です。 夜を表現する時にファッションの使い方をしました。
