聖ヨハネの神は、シカゴの肉産業地区に設立された第二のポーランドのコミュニティでした。 教会の礎石は、1918年10月13日、Bishop Alexander J. McGavickによって隠されました。 Dziennik Chicagowski、Dziennik Zwinzkowy、Dziennik Narodowyという3つのポーランドの新聞を含む3つの真鍮の缶は、パリッシュの歴史、CracowのKosciuszko Mound、ルルドからのホリーウォーターの亜麻地のドキュメントのすぐ隣に位置しています。 ルネッサンスとバロックのモチーフを組み合わせた建築家Henry J.
