ISHIKAWA Kanganは古くから修業したNanga*をKOMURO Suiunに師事しました。 その後、西洋絵画や故郷の豊かな自然環境からインスピレーションを得て、独自のオリジナルスタイルを確立しました。 石川のような他のアーティストたちの間で、横山大観が使用した「もろい」や「ほんご」の技法を描き、西洋美術に見かけました。 この作品では、異なる柔らかさが羊飼いと山々を包み込み、他の画家の作品では一般的に見えないもの。 未来への大きな期待にもかかわらず、石川は46歳で亡くなりました。
