中国古代の詩人、画家、職人の主題として、狩猟、ポロの練習に大きな魅力。 16世紀後半から17世紀初頭にかけては、スポーツの数百年後の「ポロ」は、日本の絵画の主題として突然の復興をしました。 ブルジョンの戦士クラスは、新しい城や邸宅の装飾のためのポロとタルタルス狩猟を再生するタルタルスのような古代のテーマを支持しました。 大規模な桃山(1573–1615)の画面画とは異なり、この作品は、その実行において非常に控えめです。 普段は桃山ポロシーンを伴った風景の細部は、必然的に捕鯨するので、特徴的なポロの姿勢を打つので、純粋な形の迅速な研究のように見えます。
