1906年(昭和21年)、昭和11年(明治27年)に、レンブラント、レノワール、セザンヌを学んだ後、白馬協会(白馬協会)に入社。 新宿、相馬アイゾ、コッコの中村屋ベーカリーの創始者のソマ・トーシコさん。 1911年後半から中村屋の背後にあるアトリエに住んでいた中村が、大正の頃からよくあるモデルとして、女子学校で学生だった。 レノワールの影響は、トシコの若き健康な身体の描写で見られるが、彼女の表情は、唇が閉まり、アーティストに指示されたインテリジェントな視線で、彼女の頬の鮮やかな赤い色は、中村の独自のスタイルの特徴です。
