Hotei(中国語:Budai)は禅仏教の最も愛されている文字の1つであり、将来の仏であるMaitreyaのアバターであると考えられています。 中国南部のシミング山の10世紀初頭に、後半のニンスに田舎を回転させたといわれています。 Hoteiは、死後すぐに絵画に描かれ、その後、グッドフォーチュン(七福神)の七つの神の一つとして中国と日本の民俗に入った。 東アジアの神話と歴史の人格の彼の墨画では、多くの場合、ここに見られるように、より遊び心で7神を描かせました。
