孤立の桜の絵画は、日本を代表するシンボルであると考え、意外に稀です。 桜の木は、奈良近郊の吉野などの名所(名所)に、春の紋章として、文学と絵画を取り入れています。 当初は、幅広の銀製のバンドが不足していた小画面の構成で、金箔の抜粋によって作られた、境肥津の無実感をイメージしています。 京都アーティスト大潟国林(1658–1716)の熱心な崇拝者である堀越は、江戸に臨場感を醸し出す。 堀越は、俳句の文学美術(七十八世紀の季節詩)や、京華(三対1の精神的な詩)で絵画や絵画で訓練されました。 海海に浸かり、四季の感性を保ちながら、主流の絵画工房の伝統のレパートリーではなく、個々の花の主題に対する彼の関心を反映しています。
