この画面のモチーフは、下で遊べる16個の水鳥と朝の栄光の植物から成る、丸山大協のスタイルで、清鳳は古典作品を学びました。 未塗装エリアは、可愛らしい若い子犬が細かいブラシストロークで描かれている間、空間の感触を作成するために有効に使用されてきました。 初期の仕事を垣間見ることができるので大変貴重な作品です。 竹内清鳳は京都で生まれ、小野美麗の下で絵画の四条様式を研究しました。 1900年にヨーロッパに渡り、西洋美術に触れた。 西洋のスタイルで風景や動物、肖像画などを制作し、京都芸術界のリーダーとして活躍し、次世代のアーティストや学生の間で教育に多くのエネルギーを投入しました。 京都は活動の基盤を残したが、作家に会った後、文天(教育美術大臣賞)の審査員もいた。
