オキナ、文字通り、オールドマン、サンバソと呼ばれる儀式舞踊から3人のダンサーが動きます。 能楽の正式なプログラムが始まる前に、新年のお祝い、国民の繁栄のための祈り、新都の神社のサイトを浄化するための儀式的な内容で予約されていない踊りです。 右はオキナの主人公であり、古い人の白いマスクを身に着け、トート貝のパターンで装飾されたオーバーローブ(kariginu)を、長寿の象徴である。 ほかの2人のダンサーの衣装を飾るクレーンやトーティスも長寿の象徴です。 中央のダンサーが演じる黒いマスクとベルは、三番目「三人」として彼を識別します。 左は、オキナの若い男性の仲間、センザ、つまり「千歳」を意味します。 狩野の学校ではアーティスト・鳥山積園が訓練されたが、木版画や書画の制作も手がけ、著名な浮世絵師の北川浦太郎氏(1753～1806)の先生でした。
