Darius Sessions (1769 - 1775) was a Rhode Island Deputy Governor who was born in Connecticut and graduated from Yale in 1737. He was involved in mercantile business with Rhode Island. He was very relevant and involved in combatting the Gaspee raiders; for example, Sessions suggested to the governor publicizing a reward for the capture of the raiders. He also put together developed plans to find and punish the attackers. Sessions ended up receiving compensation from the Colonial legislature for his trip to Pawtuxet and sending the crew of the Gaspee back to Newport.
