The plate is part of an advertisement for a catering company. We stenciled it with a fishbone design, a critique of the poverty in the Philippines.Established on January 2007, koloWn took its name from the oldest street in the Philippines, Colon Street, and from the idea of colonialism. Its initial mission was to kolownize all possible spaces. KoloWn has evolved into a brand that sells ambiguous ideas, using a variety of techniques and styles to produce bizarre products. koloWn operates as a network of individual workers/producers that may or may not known to each other.www.kolown.net
