Flora (1891) is an oil painting by the English Pre-Raphaelite painter John William Waterhouse. Exhibited at the Royal Academy in 1891. The entry in Academy Notes for 1891 reads: "Maiden in white draperies sitting by a niche in a marble wall in which are a statuette and some narcissi and purple iris." Flora was one of a small number of paintings that were inspired by a trip made by Waterhouse to the island of Capri in 1890, when he made sketches for paintings, the most famous being An Alfresco Toilet which was in the collection of the soap manufacturer Lord Leverhulme.
