RIK LINA was born in Holland in 1942. He studied painting and photography at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam between 1960 and 1965. In 1972 he joined the Surrealist Group International MOVEMENT PHASES (relations of friendship with Artur Cruzeiro Seixas and Mario Cesariny). Lived, worked and exhibited their work in Turkey, Spain, Caribbean, Chile, Brazil, Indonesia, USA, and since 1973 in Portugal.He participated in the retrospective exhibition “O Surrealismo Abrangente – Colecção de Artur Cruzeiro Seixas
