Small sailing boat regatta – (Josep Pineda Guerra) ankstesnis Kitas

Artist:

Dydis: 7 x 100 cm

Muziejus: Maritime Museum of Barcelona (Barcelona, Spain)

technika: Tempera

The artist Josep Pineda Guerra’s work as a ship portraitist is a precursor to the finest work done in Spain in this discipline. Pineda was arguably the best painter of ships and boats, and certainly the most prolific. His careful attention to detail and the resulting great realism of his works is understandable when we learn of his training and experience as a sailor. As a painter he combines technical ability, a passion for the sea and knowledge about ships. In this painting, the artist shows a regatta featuring yachts and other leisure vessels.
