The Seven Sacraments refers to two series of paintings of the seven sacraments by the French painter Nicholas Poussin. This painting is one of the second set of Sacraments, painted for Poussin's faithful friend, Fréart de Chantelou. The painting (117 x 178 cm) is in the Collection of the National Gallery of Scotland, Edinburgh.
