The Grand Canal, Venice is an oil on canvas painting by the English Romantic landscape painter, watercolourist and printmaker William Turner. It was painted in 1835. On his second visit to Venice, probably in September 1833, he created a series of views of the city. This painting (91 x 122 cm) is currently housed in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York.
