Arcangelo Ianelli was a Brazilian painter, sculptor and illustrator. He was born on July 18, 1922 in São Paulo, Brazil and died on May 26, 2009 at the age of 86. Arcangelo Ianelli was involved with an artistic group called Grupo Guanabara along with Manabu Mabe, Yoshiya Takaoka and Tikashi Fukushima. His brother Tomás Ianelli was also a painter. He was the father of the painter Rubens Ianelli and grandfather of the poet Mariana Ianelli.
