Ernst Schrom was an Austrian painter and graphic artist born in Vienna on October 14, 1902. He is considered one of the most interesting expressive watercolorists in Austria in the middle of the 20th century. Schrom studied at the Fine Arts Academy in Vienna and became a teacher after graduation. He was known for his expressive aquarelles, but also created other works. Ernst Schrom died in a car accident on May 8, 1969.
