Portrait de Pieter Gerardus van Overstraten (1755-1801). Gouverneur général (1797-1801). Pièce à genou, à droite, assise dans un siège avec le bras droit appuyé sur une table et avec un bâton de commande dans la main droite, signalant avec la main gauche. Le visage est inspiré d'un portrait miniature peint à Batavia par Joseph Gillis. Partie d'une série de portraits des gouverneurs généraux des anciennes Antilles néerlandaises.
