L'inventario del 24 maggio 1593 registra tra gli effetti nel ripostiglio del Palazzo Vecchio (Guardaroba Medicea) tre pannelli di rame di Alessandro Allori, ciascuno di 3/4 di 2/3 braccia, che rappresentano il Cristo morto frequentato da due angeli.
