Dieses Bild zeigt zwei geflügelte Franziskaner, Saint Bonaventure und Saint Anthony of Padua, die Musikinstrumente spielen (eine vihuela de mano und eine vihuela de arco). Der Franziskaner Kardinal, Saint Bonaventure, ist von der roten Kuh, die über seine Gewohnheit getragen wird, erkennbar, während Saint Anthony durch sein Attribut von einem Stiel von Lilien erkennbar ist. Das Gemälde ist ein Fragment aus einer großen und komplexen allegorischen Komposition, die die Niederlage der Häresie von der Jungfrau der Unbefleckten Empfängnis darstellt, die von Heiligen Franziskus und Franziskaner Heiligen unterstützt wird. Die Komposition entstand um 1670 in Cuzco im Kreis Basilio de Santa Cruz Pumacallao und ist in einer Arbeit erhalten, die für das Kloster San Francisco in Santiago de Chile gemalt ist.
