Der Patch von lila Blüten an der unteren linken Seite fügt dieser Leinwand eine scharfe Note hinzu, die wahrscheinlich zum Frühling von 1878 stammt. Mit Kinderwagen auf einem Weg, ist es typisch für Pissarros Blick auf Pontoise und seine Umgebung, fast alle zeigen die Bauern, die das Land arbeitete oder im Dorf lebten. Pissarro in der Region für fast zwei Jahrzehnte gemalt, beginnend im Jahre 1866; der Ort dieser Szene wurde von seinem Sohn Ludovic-Rodo identifiziert, obwohl es heute nicht identifiziert werden kann.
