Esto muestra el interior de la nueva estación de tren. El Primer Ministro y Ministro de Ferrocarriles, John Gunn, colocaron la piedra fundamental de la nueva estación de Adelaide, el 24 de agosto de 1926. El edificio fue terminado en junio de 1928. El costo total es desconocido pero probablemente superó 800.000 libras (1.600,000). El edificio cuenta con 30 columnas iónicas y miles de metros cuadrados de granito pulido y hormigón armado.
